Keep Up to Date with the Partial Discharge World: IPEC HV's 2 Day Comprehensive Training Course
Electrical insulation deterioration causes up to 90% of electrical failures of high voltage and medium voltage plant. The course aims to help you address this problem by comprehensive training in Partial Discharge and Monitoring Technologies.
Partial Discharge Monitoring is essential to ensure safety, reliable, long-term operation of high and medium voltage plant. On-Line and Off-Line PD Monitoring Technologies are now available to provide PD Testing at commissioning and for in-service HV plant. These include handheld PD 'Screening' systems, Portable Diagnostic PD Spot Testers and both Permanent and Portable Remote Access Monitors (web-based) to detect and log PD activity over extended periods of time.
The new Integrated PD Training Course from IPEC HV is unique as it will represent the complete range of technologies capable of monitoring all classes of high voltage and medium voltage plant for example cables, transformers, switchgear and rotating machines.
By attending this course and learning about the latest options for both On-Line and Off-Line Partial Discharge Test and Monitoring Technologies it will be possible for the delegates to evaluate whether the technologies are suitable for the condition monitoring and asset management of their own or their customers' medium voltage and high voltage plant networks.
The Background
