SSM-Mini™ - Portable
4-Channel PD Monitor
IPEC High Voltage present a new entry level PD monitor as part of our integrated range of technologies for the insulation condition monitoring of medium voltage, electricity distribution plant.
The SSM-Mini™ - Portable is suitable for both short-term PD monitoring (of a few days) and medium-term PD monitoring (of up to a few months) of all types of MV plant.
The SSM-Mini™ can be used in Phase 3 of the IPEC High Voltage Integrated PD Test and Monitoring Solution.
Features include:
- Low-Cost 24/7 PD monitoring technology for MV cables, switchgear & other plant
- Incorporates up to 4x portable PD sensors - up to 4x HFCT for cable PD detection and up to 4x TEV sensors for 'local' plant/switchgear pd detection
- Measures and logs both cable PD and 'local' PD (magnitude & count)
- Stores up to 6 months of data on local 'flash' memory
- Generates a PD 'Criticality' measurement (0-100) with 7x colour-coded PD levels
- Downloads PD data every 30 mins via RTU SCADA and/or other comms systems
- Compact, lightweight and easy to set up unit for portable installations
- Incorporates 'Precedence Detector' functionality for cable & TEV PD signals to show 'which pulse came first' to provide directional data on the source of PD's detected
