OSM-Longshot™ On-Line Partial Discharge Test Unit with PDGold© and PDReader© Software
A portable on-line partial discharge test unit with PDGold© PD test data collection software and PDReader© post-processing, analysis and report software. Capable of non-obtrusive on-site PD testing and monitoring of MV and HV equipment without the need to de-energise or take out of service.
On-line PD Testing of the Following Equipment:
- MV/HV PILC/XLPE Cables, Joints, Terminations and Sealing Ends
- MV/HV Current and Voltage Instrument Transformers (CT and VT)
- MV Metal-Clad Switchgear (Air and Solid Insulated)
- Motors and Generators
PDGold© Features
- PD signals captured synchronously across 50/60 Hz power cycle
- Auto "event recognition" of PD pulses and noise rejection
- Spot Tests of 5 to 10 minutes
- Short Term Monitoring 1-24 hours, up to one week
- On-line cable PD measurements in picocoulombs (pC) with calibrated HFCT sensor (no need for external pC calibrator)
- RF noise reduction filter
- Also suitable for off-line testing at 50/60 Hz
PDReader© Features
- Post data collection analysis of PD test files
- May be installed on any Windows 2000/XP PC - Test in the field, analyse in the office
- PDF report output
